Comet are currently doing a deal for a 42" 1080p TV for £599.

I'd either go for that, or the same but in 37" for around £450 I think?

Nice tv's

What make? 42" would be far to big for my room, and tbh i think a 37" would be too.

i forgot to add, Budget is around £400-£500.

You can get quite a lot for £4-500 now tbh.

Samsung by the way, they also do a 32" version, no idea of cost though

Budget £30 for a decent wall mount, anything more is a waste of money unless you are getting some fancy motorised one.

You wont get a half decent cantilever bracket for £30 (assuming you want to be able to swivel it)
you might get some Chinese piece of shit off ebay but i wouldnt trust it with my £600 telly on the wall

Cantilever possibly but I wouldn't want my tv on one anyway.

Normal wall bracket 30 is fine, this is from comparing a 30 quid ebay one and a 100+ vogels one, i'd pick the ebay one every time and not even just because of the money.

£30 Ebay brackets are indeed fine. Don't be a sucker and pay Comet prices for brackets. I was a sucker and bought a fixed mount for £60. I had to drill the holes to make them bigger so it'd hold my TV
