If it was an actual conversation with an actual developer, it would of been recorded somewhere. No developer gives news or information word to mouth - otherwise I could say Shenmue III is coming out next week, or so i heard. So... article with statement from developer please

You lot are saying don't play it in the dark, but I found from the demo that you have to? Otherwise you can't see all the odd monster thingies coming to get you

Stuck now 
Level 3 and the helicoptor has just left me, one end of railway line is on fire and the other has electrical cables shorting out. Full of nasty men and cant get out

its meant to be played in the dark, when your alone and keep hearing noises in your house.
being stoned and paranoid greatly adds to the effect

I started playing this the other night.
It makes me fill abit sick tbh, its blurry when you move fast. That the same for everyone else or should I look at settings on my TV?

I havn't noticed any blur.
I struggle to read the on screen text though as its that small.

Doll Factory
When you drop down a ledge and go through the corridor theres a shelf I need to knock on to some propane bottles that explode and clear the walk way, I can't get the shelves to topple over and when I kick them they fall on to bottles and explode killing me
Edit - Done it, took some doing but threw a plank at bottle at right angle and it set them off.
Now need to kill this crazy doll woman.
