Text read out sent in by a Rangers fan on Clyde 1:
'We may have broke your heart a couple of times in the past Tommy but today you've broken all off ours'
Summed it up well i thought.

Tee total, athlete from a very young age, never smoked, never touched drugs, devoted his entire life to; his faith, his family and his football yet he contracts cancer and it kills him.
You sometimes wonder if there really is a god.

A big shame, but a good tribute for the man as can be seen in those pictures.

Just watched the bbc coverage of todays funeral.
They gave him a good send off. Very sad, but also a nice sight to see the fans singing YNWA as he was being taken to Paradise.

He was Mr Celtic and he's irreplacable but he truely believed when he was alive that death is only the beginning. Agree or disagree he didn't fear it and died peacefully, i think his young family take strength from that

I can't believe people give up their shirts and scarfs. Nice touch though.

Shirts and scarves are material he gave us 15 years service as a player, 3 as a manager and campaigned for our training academy for an entire decade as both our manager and head of our entire youth infrastructure.
We can go and buy another scarf for a fiver we can't bring him back unfortunately.
