Yes I know its a cheap one, but I want a TV for my bedroom to watch freeview, watch normal DVDs on a normal DVD player and to plug a spare machine into. None of this Hi def turbo nutter bastard shit, just that.
Worth it?
Will I be able to use a universal remote with it?

Turbo nutter bastard that is mine and my dad's saying about fast Transits.
Don't see why it wouldn't be adeqaute - most TVs etc are made in the same factory anyway.
You should see my TV. 14" CRT with only scart socket and aerial

No they aren't, and no they don't all use the same screen.
It will do what you want it to do but quality won't be very good as i'm sure you'll already know.
Don't see any reason why you wouldn't be able to use a universal remote but maybe have a quick google 1st.

I've just ordered one of these today
I'm moving into my flat next month, and I needed A telly, nothing special - just a telly. This one is so cheap that even if it breaks in a couple of years - i'll have had my use out of it.
It was either this or my 14" CRT for my living room centre piece
