ive put a fast road cam from a 1.3 nova in my 1.4 sri corsa.
would the timing be different because its all timed up exact but wont start and when it does start its really noisy

most aftermarket cams require different cam timing settings from standard.
what sort of noise is it?

it basicly rattles really loud. how could i get the timing right or would it have to be done by a garage with specialist equipment

do you know what cam it was?
rattling doesnt sound good, thats unlikely to be caused by timing.

do not have a slitest all im goin by is that it was a mate of mines 1300 nova. im gonna take the cam carrier off tomorow and have a check on the lifters and rockers. and what difference would there be in timing the standard cam and aftermarket cam
