copied from Meguiars website hence the detailing stuff at the end!
The Corsa has landed! i have now got my Runabout here with me!
has been fairly well looked after although i have had to start removing a few of the Chavvy bits. some dodgy LED door lock pins, one of which had a fault and was flashing, have since found out there are 2 switches in the door bins, needless to say they have been removed. also need to find some replacement washer Jets!
Anyway, shall let the pictures let you know what model i have!
SO its red, and a vauxhall....
Ahhh gives you more of a clue!
and my Fav picture!
Only a few small little dinks on the wings/doors and rear Quarters. small amount of rust on the front arches and the worst panel being the boot! not bad at all for the amount i paid with 63K on the clock for a 1.6 16v Sport!
oh and my arms are now the same colour as my car.... been outside polishing it, putting the stereo etc in, have a Laguna Splitter to follow and to fit CD Changer somewhere! got to do a bit of saving for the Lowering springs.
Now for the Detailing! no befores as it was still fairly clean. washed in NXT gen wash with Mircofibre wash mit, dryed with water Magnet towel. no need to clay as it was already smooth.
So to even the colour out a coating of Step 1 Paint Cleaner, followed by Step 2 Polish both from the Deep crystal range, then a coat of Tech Wax.1 ( ) and finished off with a coat of Harvey's Carbuna Wax Paste.

Flame red Corsa's always catch my eye
I found the Megs paint cleaner quite rubbish, although I was applying with a foam applicator pad.

depends on how hard you want to work, i've managed to turn a rather pink 5 door corsa back to a red one with a couple of hours work. if you can find a shaddy spot as well that helps!

Yeah, worked in the shade with my car, to not much luck. It has something to do with the front end respray (because of crash) is a different red to the sides. And the back is different again
Yours looks tidy though would love it if mine was a 1.6 Sport or something.

Thats the thing i'm worried of, it might be a runabout but it is my show car as well while my Nova is tucked up in the Garage as i have no time to find out why its got a bloody misfire! The Boot on the Corsa is a wee bit rusty in the usual places.

The Nova is ill, me and Lou have just bought a house and doing that up for August time to move in which means the Nova hasnt had much time to be looked at for this Misfire, which is pressurising the Oil system. it will be taken apart once we've moved in, have my own Garage now so will have space to work on it.
