Not had this phone long, had no problems upto last night when the shutter wouldn't open when switching to camera. I can hear what sounds like the motor spinning inside, but tapping the phone near the shutter won't help.
Anything I can do ie software update, master reset etc or it going back to o2

Sounds more like a hardware problem than a software one - looks like it's going back tbh

countless software issues with that phone unfortunately. try a software update yourself mate if not then back it goes

i have had loads of problems with this phone curently not using it as touch screen isnt working and when im writing a txt it sends the msg when it likes

i have a k850i, i didnt know the shutter was supposed to open itself, mine never has

How do you take pictures without the shutter being open, then?
Mine does it sometimes, I just close the CyberShot application and reopen it.

You can't on a K850. You had to on the K800, though.

Mine does this too. If it won't open I select camera from the menu and it opens.
