i thought i would start a thread for all of you to see and get comments from everyone.
some of the local lot may remember this from my L plate days lol and thanks to johners for towing it when headgasket went really appreciated,
anyway the engine basically went bang and wouldnt work, i set about getting a new engine fitted after that, me and the girlfriend decided to modify it a bit from what it was so
here is what it looked like before, its a little dirty but you get the picture lol
then after we had the new engine fitted we set about tidying it up and making it look 10x better
1st was to smooth the groves in the bumpers
then we started to smooth the arches into the front and rear wings, the 1st time round i didnt like the shape and bulk we were getting with them so chipped off the filler and started again
then i decided to do a little bit of customising, the slatted debadged grill was broken so i decided to blend it in to the front bumper
we have also started to smooth the gsi spoiler into the bootlid but havent got any pics yet.
Hope you all like and let me know what you think, the brid cruise stickers have come off because they were peeling and cockeyed lol.

its like a purple/blue colour with tiny bits of glitter in it so it lookes nice

thanx, it looks a lil on stilts at the front in the last pix coz it was on axle stands, but normally it would be really low

we started smoothing the spoiler into the bootlid last night wilkl get some pics when i go to work on it later on.

Update:
right have been busy since the last time i updated
the spoiler is now smoothed in and also finished
been doing more work on the arches, managed to get the front bumper off and headlights, the o/s/f headlight is broken so im going to try some diy depos
working hard but hardly working lol
thought id been fishing and caught something big lol

filler city  how much have you used?
would have fiberglassed stuff first personally but good effort, brave!

i have used 1 tub of filler and bout 6 or 7 tubs of fiberglass, its not all filler its more fiberglass otherwise it would crack like a crack head in interrogation

not much of an update really, have been busy lately and havent had time to do anything with the car, i have got someone from a local bodyshop coming to look at it on monday to give me a quote for a respray
