just fitting gauges into my car for oil pressure and temp but dnt actually know wot the pressure and temp should be 
so just asking wot is the optimum oil temp and pressure for a redtop lol

I think it would be somewhere in the region of 95-100 degrees C, perhaps i'm wrong though?! 10w40 i would think would be best at that range

Might not be accurate for an XE but id say on tickover oil pressure should be pretty high maybe 6-8 bar when cold and about 4bar when warmed up.
As a say tho im not 100% sure.Im just going by previous cars.

Mine sits at 4 bar when cold and 2 bar when fully warmed up Temp wise when it warm its at around 80 degrees

think mine was about 50psi on tickover on my old xe

i have both gauges
oil temp usually about 80 degrees only ever goes as high as 90
oil pressure usually 1 bar idle and 3.5 bar on throttle
