could some on tell me the different between the sxi 1.4 twinport and the sri 1.4 twinport? all i can see is that the sri one has the 16inch alloys and silver seat belts lol

Engine wise they are the same. Exterior wise, different wheels, mirrors, bumper grill's, spoiler, no rub strips.
There are probably more but they are the basics.

Different suspension maybe? Although I know the SXi is slightly more 'sporty' than others.

This is the Twinport and non-Twinport models, which strictly speaking isn't a different engine. I think it's to do with the manifold.
Most, not all post-2004 cars will be Twinport I think.

The older 1.4 z14xe feels a bit quicker.
I think the newer Twinport ones have better emissions are probably a bit better on fuel.

As Joe said, not much in it speed wise, but more efficient on carbon output and fuel input.

the 1.4 twinports are a z12xep with bigger bore
