am thinking of getting an Astra GSI next year and would like to get Phase/Stage 1 tuning

Had a look on both websites and they give similar gains for the same price:

- Courtenay Sport
Up to 240bhp £495

Regal-Autosport
Up to 236bhp £480

i dont know to be honest. With my car though with the same engine i will be doing things like modifiyindg the exhaust and airfilter then doing some research on who can do the best map for me. It wont necessarily be the most bhp per £.

Alot of people seem to replace the turbo with the unit from the astra vxr (not sure if this is just a bolt on and re-map job though, think I read something about changing injectors ) FMIC is always a good starting point after the usual breathing mods and then get it mapped.

VXR turbos bolt straight on. Injectors dont need changing until you're looking for upwards of 260bhp. AFM needed for 280bhp +
