Every now and again I get the ABS light on. Never really bothered my but occasionally now when in slow moving traffic etc just before the car comes to a complete stop there is a strange jolt that comes through the pedal like if the abs is kicking in
If you brake hard and from high speed etc it is always fine just affected when at low speeds it seems. Although on the last track day that we did in the wet the abs did seem like it was cutting in alot more then it needed too


Where is the best place to start checking? the sensors on the struts?


Standard brake setup on a gsi btw

apprently some early GSI's had problems with abs modules faulty

theres a code you have eot check on the unit, but i dont no what it is

i get my abs light on when reversing, so would like to know this too!

Going to clean up all the sensors when I get a chance but cant think of anything else to try
