hay peep's as stated above i got s me a problem with the redtop!
Basicaly when you start the car it will turn over and fire perfectly, the rev's will go up too 1100rpm and then come down and down and down and then cut out.... Happens every time, now the strange thing is, if you start the car and give it a slight bit of throttle, keeping the rev's at about 2k for 30 seconds then blip the throttle, it will come down to 500rpm go to cut out, then pick up and idle at 1100rpm and then settle on 800rpm and wont miss a beat again... Now im bamboozled on whats up so anyone got any ideas/shed some light on it?
Also
The breaks on the car are utter pants, pedal is almost at the floor before they work (savere pedal travel) now the cars had new pads disks, shoes and drums and slaves(wheel cylinders to people who like to be correct) i know the travel is because the shoes are not adjusted correctly. Thats not the problem, the problem is if i pump the break pedal a fair few times then hold it down the car will try to but out.... So anyone got any ideas on that aswell?
Thanks
Rich

if it's missing, could be a problem with plug/lead's etc??
if no over fueling could be cts? - so could be soaking one or more of the plug's so they don fire correctly too?
not sure what else it could be, may be someone else has some idea's

only misses when you have to start it again after cutting out, then it clears after you rev it...
Checked the plugs and leads a few weeks ago (results in the first post of my project log)

Fine when warm, or does it always do it?
Fault codes; ECU light wired up?
Spray carb cleaner all around the inlet (after the AFM) and if the idle/note of the car changes you'll have an air leak somewhere. Usual spots are on teh ecotec pipe, the SFI box/ecotec elbow seal underneath, the ICV piping.
