Is this possible without spending $75 on a licensed version of ModRewrite?

That was my first thought. However, the amount of red tape I'd have to go through....

Think there's a free cut-down version of one of the rewrite engines for IIS.

If this is work related then I'm sure they won't mind spending $75...

have you tried IIS7? as i believe it has mod_rewrite built in

Yeah, thats what I'm running and it seems to spazz out on me

It is work related, but work are uneducated and tight. If its not for new crayons to colour in with they're not interested
