hi took my car to vauxhall they told me i need a coolant temp sensor ive fitted it and the lights off but every nwo and then will come back on and stay on untill ive turned the ignition off and on what could fault be dodgy connection? cheers for any help

Might be a matter of clearing the fault codes?
Did they do this at vaux/ or did you fit the CTS yourself?

took it to vaux they didnt say they did would thety do it for free you reckon seems ive fitted what tehy told me and it still dont work?

Was the eml light on before fitting the new CTS?
i.e. obviously intermittent now, but is that an effective improvement? or much the same?

definately an improvement as it always was on until i fitted sensor now its on everynow and then

I'd clear the fault codes -disconnecting the battery for a say mins should allow this then reconnect.
This in itself might cure the problem. If not, gives a new basis for investigation e.g. Paper clip test with fresh up to date codes.
