Right so after getting alot of oil on my driveway i tried to clean up.

I threw down alot of sand quickly and brushed it in, it rainded last night and the sand turned into sludge. So this morning i went to clean it up, i brushed all the wet sand to one side and and shovel'd it into a bucket. Now after that i used alot of water to get the rest of the sand off the drivway, now i just want to know if this is clean enough to park the car on, i can still see rainbows but this is right after we cleaned it. Should i wait untill it stops raining and chuck more sand down and clean it up again or not??

driveway cleaner from halfrauds.

spray some carb cleaner on it and wash it away.

iv just used soap powder and i think it might have worked

oven cleaner, cheapo crappy foam stuff you get from pound shops is what i use,

i had a gearbox full of oil spill its load sparyed this crap on bout half our later washed away n its vanished

Our next door neighbour uses a bucket full of hot water and washing up liquid, and sweeps it onto our drive for us to clear up

And then of course she doesn't put any more oil into her Mondeo engine that must have more holes in it than a colander, so I can see it seizing very shortly.

I used a strong TFR solution, think you can get it from motorfactors, its called strike! Pretty good stuff
