most people have seen these pics..

but just wondering if you lot think id be able to modify my exhaust so it sits higher, so i can go this low and still have abit of clearance..

heres this pics..

just not sure if i want to chop into the bumper...

or just wondering if its worth selling this exhaust for a 3" one with a small silencer (but i realy like the 6x4 style as it suites the car imo)

also in this pic its sitting on the bump stops (no springs, due to taking them out to sell) but i want to go this low (approx -100m), but as there spax rsx there only good for -90mm, ive been told somewhere that theres 2 bumpstops in each shock, and you can take one from each so you can go this low and still have clearance (but dont take out the both), can anyone shine some light on this please, as i dont realy fancy getting some more shocks after buying some spax rsx coilovers...

can anyone help please..

yer there wer no springs fitted at the time of the pics as i took them out to sell but never sold them in the end (as i was getting some -100mm ones but people say its about the same as no springs, as its level with the wheel lip)

so if i went for -100mm ones now id have to get new rear shocks or take one of the bump stops out (so ive been told)

id be able to pull it off trust me, just need to get the exhaust modified or get a new/smaller backbox (its not the style its just the silencer itself hangs to low)

and sort the rear shocks out...

no no no, ive been told that the spax shocks have to bumpstops in each shock, so if you take one out it will give enough clearance and travel to go -100mm and still have a bump stop in (like i said, so ive been told) as i dont fancy paying out another 100+pound to get rear shocks when ive not that long bought spax rsx coilovers...

90s from where dave a or coilsprings?

and what shocks are you using?

im after a backbox exactly like this..

so it sits nice and high like this...

once thats sorted i can move on to getting the middle silencer moved up, then can get the 90mm rear sold and get some 100mms and shorter shocks..

well i went from stock springs to daves 80's and after a week they were nigh on 80mm lower at the centre of the hub

springs are all about poundage of th ecoils etc as has been said many many times

if you go for dave a or coilsprings i really couldnt give a shite either way, all i knows is that i trust dave with something that is so critical in any setup and i know ime going to get great customer service and my springs are going to last

Why don't you sell that exhaust then get a custom one made with a side exit then you won't have any clearance problem.
Or Just have a big centre silencer then no silencer at the back just straight through.

Yes, the road will do a very effective job of modifying your exhaust.

You could run it through the car. Lot of work but worth the effort if super low is your thing.

Could just get a straight through centre pipe mate? would be alot easier, cheaper and will give you a lot more clearance
