Author speedo cable keeps snapping! :(

right ive got a 1.4 16valve corsa sri 95 model the cable keeps snapping at the top ive fitted 2 brand new ones now it clicks loads for about a 1mile or two then snaps anyone know what im doing wrong? thanks for any help

Routed it wrong?

At the top as in at the speedo end? so its not snapping at the gearbox.

Is it catching on anything?

yeah the end where the dials are when fitted it makes clicking noises???

not yet was thinking of going scrappy to get some how will i know if its the dials thats at fault?

il try that gonna get a second hand speedo this time lol be cheaper if it snaps agin
