Ok, when i first got it...
Then i fitted a Genuine Peugeot/Citroen 'Diddy' Aerial, probably the best Genuine thing i got on the cheap to be honest... £4
Re-fitted the standard front grill as i had no plans of smoothing the bonnet, followed by SP Upper mesh
Then got my personalised registration plates...
And went out and took some pics...
Then it was time for the "Show" cage to go...
And i played around with photoshop for new wheel idea's...
But whilst i was deciding, the TSW's were sold, so i needed some temp wheels...
I ended up settling for the Nimrods that came on it from the factory, powdercoated black
...and that leads us up to present

Wanted to smoke my headlights, foglights and paint my SP mesh black today, pretty simple really, but it involves taking pretty much the whole front end off (headlights, front grill, bumper, arch liners) and thats before work even begins!
Got the front end off pretty much straight away, so tried to get the lights done first. Guides on the internet consist of hot water, or the oven. I've tried the hot water method before, so i thought i'd give the oven a go.
100*, pulling them out every 2-3 minutes to see if the sealant has softened enough, but it never did. I tried multiple times, and was determined not to end up with just a cracked lense, it was as if the sealant was brittle, and wouldn't become "gooey".
So, back to the mesh then! Got my tin of matt black out and it looked fantastic, then i tried to re-fit it and disaster! Because the mesh was so flexible, the paint literally flaked off in my hands.
I was about to pack it in and call it a day with just black plastic mesh (standard) but then i realised i had a tin of Hammerite Smooth Black from when i did the Calipers on the Astra.
3 coats and a hell of a lot of waiting time later, and its back together in one piece, and i must say i think it looks fantastic, suits the car SO much better now its black. All i really need to do now is to get the headlights and foglights sorted, then i'll be happy
Phil
Before
After
Also bought this... "Green Cotton Direct Powerflow Induction Kit"
A little more progress today.
As some may know, the 106 gti comes with "driving lights", and when you turn main beam on, the driving lights come on with them.
Today i set about hooking up the Foglights on the 206 to do the same thing. I followed a guide on 206info and its now complete, so when i flash/turn on the main beam, the fog lights come on too, and when main beam is off and i turn the fog lights on independantly, only the fog lights come on
I've purchased a gloss black centre console to match the wheels, just waiting on the arriving. Next job/purchase is PH2 rear lights.
Also did some painting over the past couple of days...

Looked better before, why by a modded car and then change things back to standard. Just by a standard car.

Something smaller done today, just to clean up the rear at night i suppose and looka bit more... 'modern'.
Sorry for the shoddy pics, hard to take them when your stood at the front of the garage... with the door down
LED Numberplate lights. Not the cheapest set to buy, but they are the best you can get. They have a years gurantee, and a sensor in them so when they get too hot, the power going to them is dropped so they don't burn out, until they cool down enough, then the power goes back up to full

Bit of a small update today.
After attending the McRae Gathering and seeing all the different sorts of "Tribute Decals", i wanted a similar one for Richard Burns, so i had this made up, i think its cool
