Best thing I have found to use on my windows was the polish I was using for the rest of the car, done an excellent job.

Finished off with a coat of zymol royal as above.

AG fast glass is very good on glass, nice and easy to use, minimal to no streaking.

Depends on what products you have available to you. but with basic suff i would...

wash car - 2 bucket method
clay -megs qiwk clay is cheap and good
AG super resin polish by hand
AG extra gloss protection
wax megs gold class etc

You need a machine poilisher to get the best shine out of your paintwork really though.

p1000 is a bit harsh for just bringing the shine back.

Wetsanding shouldnt be used unless the car has some serious defects, theres no need. A polish such as megs #83 has more than enough cut on a megs burgandy pad to remove most defects, follow it with megs #80 and you'll have a wax ready finish!
