Can you change the clutch on a C20XE without taking the gearbox out?

look on your box if you have an inspection plate whip it off and see if you got a flat flywheel if you have then you can if its not flat and its a pot then no you cant and of course if you dont have the plate then you aint got a chance at all

How do you tell the difference between the two types of flywheel?

One is a lot deeper than the other, the pot one is the one where the clutch kinda sits in the flywheel and the flat one is thinner with the clutch more bolted to the front of it than sat in it. If you have a look and post a picture we should be able to tell you

Any way of telling from the inspection hole?

Ive never had an F20 with the inspection cover because I went straight to the F28 but yes if you have the cover you can tell which flywheel you have by taking it off and having a look
