Just been flashed by one on the M55/A55 Cant remember which, anyway i was doing 50 in a 40 through roadworks is this 3 points or 6 points on my licence? I've only been driving since november so if its 6 I'm going to get banned

i was doing 55mph in a 30 and got flashed, luckily i never got anything through.
I think if you dont hear anything or recive a letter within 2 weeks you've got away with it.

Not always, alot of them can take 6-8weeks to come though.

What about ANPR vans? It was round the corner the other morning and I looked and was doing 34 without realizing it

Dave: I dont think they bother if your only fractionally over the speed limit, i was definetly doing 50 by the time i realized but it was too late
Hopefully i wont hear anything back

they should let you off with 34mph i think its something stupid like they let you go over the speed limit by upto 3-4% and they will let you off.
But i got told all this stuff ages ago and only vaguely remember

i got worried about the spec's on the m60 near the m67..
they had appeared since the last time i was that way and its goes from a 70 to a 50 and specs straight away..
luckily nothing has come through!

kurt do you mean the average speed camera's near the denton roundabout towards bredbury/stockport? i know peoplethat go through there most day averaging 60/70 and they never get done for it, the lucky gits

I'm from Tameside myself I grew up in Hyde, Most of the speed Camera's dont work round here Even the Gatso's Rarely flash people, the Council even put up fake green & red & blue speed Camera's

they can issue a fine at any point up to 6 months and it will still count. and u usually get away with 10% + 2mph to account for speedometer inaccuracies

Yea I've been through a couple at a a "TAD" over the speed limit in my 206 GTi a few times
I think LoafofBRett went through one in his impreza too, They're an absolute waste of time and taxpayer's money as they aren't actually legal speed Camera's and cant be used in court.
You never so much as receive a letter about them even if you blow through them

They get 14 days to get the letter to you, if its later than that then you can ignore it. They have 14 days by law

People fly past me everyday on the M60 50mph zone with the specs cameras. I don't risk it, as a taxi driver told me he got a ticket speeding through there. Sometimes they're on, sometimes they're not. Not worth risking. I used to be able to nail that bend at 120mph too before the cameras
At least if you do get done, ben, you can request the picture and frame it for keeps sake.

Brett: Why would a Want a picture of a horrible CID looking 207 HDI doing 50  of all the cars i have had this is probably the slowest yet it gets me done for speeding, Ironic
Kurt iirc somebody was run over and killed on the hard shoulder just under the bridge and thats why they put the camera's up and enforced a lower speed limit

Yeah, a group of kids broke down or something just round the bend. Some guy came flying round and plowed the lot of them down. Was a cracking bend before hand.
I saw Kurt on the M60. Was quite an experience.

Aye that is the reason although I don't know many people that actualy do 50mph around it.
If you look closely on the inside of the bend you can see where a car hit
