Hi,
How/where do you buy the bits to Blank off your Egr Valve?

Is it costly and how hard is it to do?

Also what are the benifits and downfalls(If any)

Does it not affect the running of the vechicle etc?

Any help appreciated,as i am intrested in doing this!

Thanks
Craig

not sure if u can still buy the blanking plates, but when/if u manage to remove the EGR valve, just use it/or the gasket and use old coke can, draw around and instant blanking plate

cost is about 35p if u use a coke can and have ur own tools and abit of time

benifits and downfalls are probably none, i still had EML on after blanking it, lol

doesn't affect running, well didn't on mine

the only benefit of doing this if you fit a new valve while doing this is that the new valve wont clog up and then in turn wont stick and in turn you em light will never come on...........happy days! oh but then because your egr valve doesnt work could makeyour em light to come on because there is no variation in map sensor signals when it should be working if you know what i`m getting at
