hi, im looking at putting some 14x9's on the rear of my corsa b with 215/40/14's or 225/40/14's. it has wide arches on it and i have adjustable rear suspension (that i want to sit as low as possible) but i am wondering wether to go for the et10 or et15 offset and if they will fit? any ideas anyone. Thanks

out of those choices, go ET15, you can always use spacers if they are too far in...
any pics of your arches? they'll have to be pretty wide

youll want some stretched tyres on them, and like aron said et 15 would be better, 9's will be a struggle but its not impossible, just depends on what arches youve got,

yeah, i think the front arches stick out to much, a member on here bought some & the fronts looked stupid. they look good on twinny2's car though.

i wouldnt be too bothered about putting the fronts on, the rears look good tho, could probably fit some 9's under them aswell

I have 195/45's on my 9" wide rears and the same on my 8" wide fronts, so personally i'd go for that size to get the tyres tucked under the arches.
ET15 is probably the highest offset on a 9" wide wheel you can fit to a Corsa without the inside of the rim rubbing on the shock. My steels were ET49 before they were banded, and the new offset is now ET11.
Hope this helps

The arches that are on ebay are similar to the ones i have fitted to mine. I got mine off german ebay (ebay.de) and had them shipped over. the front arch is only slightly wider, compared to the stupidly wide front ones available on uk ebay. I paid about £80 from german ebay though. thanks for the help on whether or not i can get 14x9's on my car
