Not sure if this would be best in here or help zone..

Anyways, picked up a X reg Seat Ibiza 1.6 Sport a few weeks back dirt cheap, as a wee project.

Doesnt start, no spark. I want to try it out on vagcom to see if theres any fault codes, anyone used it before? Any ideas on the ebay cheapy versions?

You never know. However there is a few dodgy versions on ebay. I've not got the cable so can't tell you which ones. You could still post up and ask.
