Maybe complete rubbish, but ive been told that putting tomato ketchup on their food stops the grass going yellow.

This actually worked when we tried it!! Something to do with neutralising the piss

also stops golden retrievers fur going gold, and staying a platinum blonde colour, like they are when they are puppies
our dog now has dark gold ears and a near enough white body

Male of female? Only female piss is acidic and kills grass.

I was going to say if it's from a bitch it can damage your grass.

As I said above, she is a she! If anything the grass grows more where she pisses
And my sister has a male choc lab and the grass is fucked where he pisses.

Thing is our garden is kind of forest like at the moment, we need to get round to buying a mower and sorting it out!
Our dog does like eating grass though, so maybe we should just leave her in the garden 24/7 instead of buying a mower?

She's probably never pissed on the same bit of grass twice in that time.

The garden may be big, but its certainly not big enough to prevent her pissing in the same spot more than once in 13yrs though
