seen a tidy car I want, will the fact its a 'Q' plate affect the insurance premium?

Didnt know you were allowed a Q plate
Seen an O plate from Ireland.

Shouldn't be an issue, depending on the reason it's on a Q.

The percieved value of the car will be a lot lower though.

When they dont no / or cant work out the date it was made and first regestered, i think?

Q = query. That's basically it, a query about the identification or age of the car or parts on the car.

I'd imagine the Q plate is a minor issue with an insurer after you mention the dreaded 'I' word.
