1. As it is an outside interferance only option is to give a drop ball - Cant re-take as it not the oppotions fault a dog has run onto the field.
2. Give another penalty - Probs a Red Card as well.
3. Nothing.

EDIT - Have we got the proper answers for this?

1. Make sure my hair is looking good for when I'm on coutless sport shows worldwide for year to come and then have a retake.

2. Red card the clumsy twat and give the shite penalty taker another spot kick - might whisper in his ear that someone else should probably take it.

3. Blow the whislt to stop the game, go and have a word with Davids and ask for a autographed shirt after the game then tell the sub to get on the pitch first then go off and take the throw.

Keith Hackett's official answers:

1) Award a retake. However, if the ball hit the post first, then hit the dog, you would give a drop ball at the point where the dog – an 'outside agent' - intervened. In that situation, if the incident occurred inside the area, the drop takes place on the goal area line (parallel to the goal line) at the point nearest to where the ball was when play was stopped.

2) Award another penalty, but do not send the defender off. This was not an obvious goalscoring opportunity, because, had the striker scored directly from the rebound, he would have been penalised for touching the ball twice. If you deem the challenge reckless, though, you may caution the defender for unsporting behaviour.

3) Stop play. Make the substitution take place again correctly at the halfway line. The player enters the field of play and the game is restarted with a throw in.

1, Play On
2, Its not a goal scoring oppertunity as the penalty taker is not allowed to score when the ball has stuck the post and no other players have touched the ball, ill go for indirect freekick and no sending off

3, Nothing

I knew a player wasnt allowed to touch the ball, just didnt run it through my mind properly re: the goal scoring oppertunity.

Always remeber it from when Teddy Sheringham missed that Pen when he had just joined Man Utd from Spurs & they played them on't first game of the season.

NEver knew that about number 2, well i knew but thought if it hit the post and came back a different direction it would be enough to not be classed as a second touch, if you get the gist!
