took my car in for the mot earlier and it failed..

only car ive owned that i needed to mot,as i usually get bord of cars and change them..

failed on..

numberplates (pressed plates)
side rep bulbs (clear under smoked grey side reps)
side light bulbs (xenon, but he said they are to blue)
headlight bulb not fitted correctly (just needed pushing in)
headlight clips broken (the bottom clip on both)
handbrake cable (very slightly split)

ive sorted:

side light bulbs
side rep bulbs
headlight

getting numberplates done 2moro, then its just headlight clips and handbrake cable..

where can i get the bottom headlight clips from?

im still abit pissed off, but still im pretty pleased that there not major things..

quite a few people have, even my mate on his mk1 fiesta...

there was even a numberplate shop over the road from the place, but after the list of things i was like fuck it!! just wanted to leave lol..

but the headlight bulb need pushing in a tad, i mean he could have easily just done it, he put it down on the mot sheet as dangerous!!

headlight clips from vauxhall are about 99p each lol...not bad tho

there wasnt normal uk pressed plates, only black and silver on pre 1972 or something, plus his is 80s..

Not a fussy bastard at all, without the clips, the lights bounce about all over, an absolute twat when someone behind you's lights are bouncing about, shining in your mirror.

ive done everything apart from the handbrake now, well also the clicks but they will be at vauxhall 2moro for me to collect..

hard to fit a handbrake cable on a corsa?

How much of it are you fitting, i fit one on mine, was quite tricky, but i had my mechanic mate telling me, and showing me what to do etc. Not too hard though.

head light clips (i spose you mean the big white block ones behind the lights holding them in place.
