I'd love to tune my 1.6 am thinking of at least inlet - cat/back - raceland manifold and maybe more!
Is there a huge difference from driving a standard 1.6 (106 bhp) to a 1.6 with 125-130 bhp?

Raceland manifold? Where have you found one for an X16XE?
and a short answer - yes, mine has much more torque now and less flatspots, and thats only putting out around 120 bhp at a guess?

Clicky
That's good to know, and in terms of mpg is it much worse?

Not at all, no different tbh - I managed 40 mpg on a relatively spirited drive from South to North Wales, and if you have ever driven here, you'll know most of it is single carriageway.

Mine has Lexmaul inlet, Janspeed manifold, custom cat back and a BMC CDA at the moment.
At that time, I had both manifolds, a custom decat, custom cat back and K&N panel filter - the cat was refitted for the MOT and soon a Janspeed decat will be going back on, but with a silencer in it to quieten it down a bit - the car was a bit loud for my liking!
Only things I looking at now really is cams and a remap, then I'm done (I think).

Here's a graph of my x16xe which is on Steinmetz throttle bodies, compression ratio 10.9:1, reprofiled standard cams and headwork. 152ps at 7000rpm at Run 2 after fitting the Dastek Unichip
