use the merge facility in cs3 it does the same thing imo (i got the trial) and found no reall difference to what i was already getting tbh.
cant really help with getting the software though

Download Topaz Adjust it's a plug-in for Photoshop Cs and above. You'll be amazed what it can do from a single Jpeg.
