The one that always made me laugh was when they robbed Duncan Fergerson.

you would think with the fuck loads of money they make , they could get someone to house sit/ maybe even a secuirty firm to be there wile hes away in a differnt country?

They do put extra security on for players who are on international duty, have done for a while now. I think they probably didnt bother with this one due to it probably being a club owned flat and it being (should be anyway) a fairly secure penthouse apartment.
And last time the thieves got caught they were from Manchester.
