aye the old ones would have cleaned up but i decided for the sake of the cost i would just buy new ones and press the standard bushes out and press poly ones in.

The battery should be in the spare wheel well. Why do you have a spare in the car anyway?

fuck that battery..... it should be about 1/3rd its weight
spare - if its still used on roads its practical. No doubt it would be tossed when out on track.
Desmundo - Can i borrow 1 set of harnesses for the 14/15th May please?

I had though about removing the sunroof and putting a skin over the whole, you can fet fibre glass covers so to speak.
Geordie - yes they look similar to the ones i have though i did not buy mine off ebay plus that is expensive, cannot remember where i bought mine but it was 8 bucks for that.
not coming on the 14th no i do infact have to work, Kindness i'm afraid i cant this time around. it's getting it MOT'd next week and i want to use it at the weekends.
The battery i want a redtop but been saving pennies lately as selling my flat to get a house. If i ever dont use the car for road use then i will move it to the spare wheel well but as it stands i will be using it on the road including driving it to knockhill if i ever manage a day.
I've been concentrating on getting it cleaned up and refreshed lately as i have the workshop where it is stored to do it at my leisure.

Sunroof's 15kg, mine got replaced with a 500g sheet of ally and some rivets, not the prettiest way of doing it but with my black roof it's not exactly an eyesore.
