Yeah ive got her home now.Picked it up Saturday evening.

And the modding had started on the Sunday.Headlights were split and smoked and im just back from Prestonpans,went and picked up a Bilstein Street Kit with 40mm lowering springs.I'll get that put on this week sometime,failing that itl be the weekend.

P.S Icy did i ask u on another forum if u had any rear lights for a Mk3??

Mk3 Golf bud.

Although id have another Mk3 Gsi in a flash,but itd need to be a P1 in immaculate condition,which are getting hard to come by these days.

dont recall you asking dude.
got couple sets of cl lights and maybe tempted to sell the red/clear/red ones as the tinted indicator section doesnt shine too bright (same prob as tinted cl lights)
where hella clears, first time i tinted was like the left before i got real red smoked red but i restripped em down again and did red clear red for a change




cant decide but you can have first dibs? white bit can be retinted smoke, has small crack but hasnt spread past 3yrs

may sell my black powdercoated inlet manifold too, has a chip on the 3rd cylinder bit you can see in pic.

Yeah id deffo be interested in the lights.
Do u think the top part of the red could be stripped off??So thats its clear/red??Or if i wanted to,strip the red off then smoke them so that they are smoked/red??

think you'd have to sand them down now as the first time i stripped it the paint i had used was with lacquer so it practically peeled off where as new red tint was red tint spray.

so you want them bottom 2/3rds red or smoked with top bit stil clear?
