I want to get my friend a chargable battery for a radio he uses on the building sites, it's a Bosch Powerbox radio and was wondering what the actual battery is that I need, it is for his birthday so can't really ask him without him knowing.
Thanks

From reading the specs it uses any of the Bosch 'O' Pack Batteries 12-24V that it charges. It can use them as a power source when unplugged from the mains.
So any Bosch 'O' Pack Batteries from 12-24V will do.

Or there is a CD version.

If he already has tools then chances are he'll have the batteries to power it. If you want to get a spare then you'll need to know what tool he uses the most so he can also benefit from a spare battery. Such as 12V, 14.4V or 24V etc..

Thanks Allan, great help!
I don't think he actually uses Bosch powertools though, just a radio as he's a painter and decorator, I'll take your advice.

That's a pretty substantial radio if that's all he's using it for. He could just use any portable radio instead of lugging that about if he's wasing using it for it's rechargable/power capabilites. Good luck anyway
