Just brought myself a red civic type r and want to get hold of some cleaning products to give it a good going over

Already got some megs products but the roof is a little bit faded so am looking for something to help bring the colour back a bit. Also got a few swirl marks on the bonnet that could do with going if possible.

So recomendations please

Is Tcut not a bit violent? Or do you just have to be careful

IIRC your paint has clear coat on top, so you won't be able to get the red back with anything such as T-Cut etc.

Best thing you can do is concentrate on getting the best shine possible, and using a UV-Protectant wax, such as Collinite 746s.
