Playing the best football includes being able to win, if you can't convert every single one of your chances while other teams convert fewer you aren't better imo
**Cough sunderland**
*cough* blow me *cough*
Marc - I quite agree tbf, hence why we dont win everything!

Why not? Quick, to the point, no fucking about? Or a load of fancy pants foreigners dicking it about into the net?
I know which style I prefer.

Bit harsh although I see you haven't really disagreed so I assume you know arsenal don't actually play the best football in england let alone the planet
BTW chelski played some nice football yesterday

Hate to say it but they're playing a lot more attractive football with Scolari, the full backs have been given licence to go forward which is a major part of the reason United and Arsenal are good to watch when in full flow!

Agreed hammer, villa's defense looked a bit shit at times aswell, e.g. the ball from lampard to cole for his goal. Lampard had a really good game though, but there were several ocassions when they got a bit lucky after numerous saves/blocks
Hope we can be the team to end there record of no defeats at stamford bridge on the 26th!

I agree with Robbo. scoring a lucky goal and winning at the end meaning you get a result is no way an indication of a better side, unless you are a 12 year old argueing in a school ground.
Nice pop, unfortunately though playing well and winning nothing doesn't get your trophies.

OK then, by the same logic Arsenal are the best side int he world as play the best football - they just havent won anything for years and dont score more than the other team - but that doesnt matter does it as not the aim of football.....ah wait.
The best team doesn't always win, only takes some luck, you can still objectively say the losing team played better though.
