Update
Hi
As the weather was good last weekend I decided to give my 98 spec JDM Integra Type R a good wash and detail and then took some sunset pictures of it. Below is what I did and the products I used
• Snow foamed the car with a mixture of Valet Pro PH snow foam and CG Maxi Suds II
• While the snow foamed was working its magic I washed the wheels with Bilberry wheel cleaner using various brushes and CG Maxi Suds II shampoo.
• The car was then washed using the 2BM with a Sonus Sheepskin wash mitt and CG Bodywash and wax.
• The car was then rinsed and dried using a Ultra Plush Miracle Dryer
• I then clayed the car for the first time using Meguiars Clay and Meguiars Last Touch for lube.
• The paint work was then cleaned and polished using Carlack 68 - Nano Systematic Care and a Blue Perl Applicator pad then buffed to a shine using microfibre cloth.
• I then gave the fleshly cleaned paint worked a coat of Collinite 476s wax. I will give it another coat next weekend.
• The wheels were then given a coat of CG Wheel Guard and dressed with AG instant tyre dressing.
• I then cleaned the windows using AG fast glass and then protected them using Carlack 68 glass sealing kit.
• The car wash also hovered inside and windows cleaned.
• Finally the car was giving a last wipe down and shine using Meguiars Last Touch
Below are lots of pictures I took while the weather was good and the sun was setting. The pics are at high res but photobucket has reduced the quality, are there any better picture hosting sites out there?
I hope you all like.
Cheers MJ

Oh my i want one of these cars so much. I love the JDM DC2's! Cant wait to be a little older so i can insure one for less than the 2.5k TPFT i was quoted lately.

Mega Update
Over the last few months I have not been happy with the handling on the Integra, Pulled quite badly to the left even though the tracking was done and it didn’t feel as safe at high speed, felt loose. I checked all the bushes and they seemed fine except for the rear trailing arm bushes which were split and the camber was quite bad on the driver’s wheel and the tyres were 40 profile so didn’t help.
Because of this I decided to treat the car to a few replacement parts and performance mods to make use of the Integra’s handling and Mugen suspension. Here is what I fitted
- Genuine OEM Honda rear upper strut brace.
- Genuine Honda rear trailing arm bushes
- Track rod ends (outer)
- Buddy Club Front and Rear camber kit
- Hankook RS2 215/45/16 tyres
- TGM Sports Fast road set up
- CG Lock
All I can say now is OMG it handles so well, its like a new car and just grips to the road like glue. The looseness has now gone and it goes straight as well without pulling to the left. I have never been in a car that grips and handles so well. The Hankook RS2 tyres are amazing, they finished the handling off perfectly and the fast road set up from TGM sports made sure everything was set up properly. When I did a performance driving course a few months back the bloke recommended a CG Lock to hold me in the seat and to keep my bottom half in the seat, it makes a lot of difference, I would recommend one.
Below are a few pictures of the work carried out.

Update
I have always wanted to keep the integra fitted with mugen parts, i already have the mugen suspension so when a mugen intake came up for sale i decided to buy it as it was a good deal with not many miles on it. So this weekend i decided to fit it.
What a great sound it makes it sounds amazing in vtec all that i need now is the mugen twin loop exhaust system.

UPDATE
My brakes were getting a bit warn so i decide it was time to get some new ones. The original 98 spec dc2 runs single pot calipers with 282mm disks. I then found out that 300mm disks and twin pot calipers from the Accord Type R bolt straight onto a 98 spec with no adaptors or spacers. I Then found a kit from a 2002 ATR including calipers, disks and pads, that were just over 6 months old. even better they were oem disks and pads. To go with the new brakes in also got a H.E.L braided brakeline and clutchline kit.
Last night i started to clean the brakes up for fitting today. I decided not to paint them at the moment as i can't decide what colour and i wanted to make sure they fitted first. First job today was to remove the old ones and check they fitted and they did which was good. I then tried the wheel back on and it fitted fine except for the caliper was just touching the wheel weights. So i removed the weights and it was fine. there is about 4mm gap between the wheel. I then fitted the brakes correctly and bleed the front brakes. I decided not to fit the hoses today as it was getting late and i need to bleed the whole system to fit the hoses, including getting some decent brake fluid. That can be in a few weeks.
Overall the brakes seem great atm. They havent really been pushed hard as i am bedding them in at the moment and need to some how get the wheels balanced with ultra thin weights lol, but so far they are rather powerful
Below are some pics. Hope you all like.

Update
Since fitting my new brakes last weekend i got my wheels balanced and fitted my new H.E.L braided hoses as well. While i was there i also decided to give the calipers a quick coat of paint to tidy them up a little
This weekend i decided to strip the back so that i can tidy up some of the wiring and sort out the honda design flaw with the lower seals and the quarter panels and to check for any rust. As you can see from the pics alot came out lol. The sound in vtec is amazing, you can really hear it but my god its so loud inside. Got so many rattles to sort out now lol.
Hope you like
Cheers MJ
