I built up a computer for my mate last nite, a bloody beast it is!!

Here are specs:

Asus Twelve Hundred case
Corsair 1000w PSU
Antec Striker II motherboard
Intel Q6600 Quad Core processor
8GB low latency Geil RAM
BFG Nvidia GTX 280 graphics card
Samsung 1TB hardrive
LG Blu-Ray burner drive
x2 Samsung 22" widescreen monitors
Creative Labs 7.1 Surround sound speakers
Windows Vista Ultimate retail edition

Total Cost: £1850!!!!!!!

Its an awesome machine. When it was built it took 2 ppl to lift the case it was that heavy!!

Considering the amount spent could have gone for something better than the Q6600. But I have this and depending on cooling can overclock well above 3Ghz
