A mate seems to think that Coil Springs offer a 'compression' service where you send them your original springs and they compress them down to how much you want off. Is this true or utter cobblers?

surely that doesnt work as the coil will just be touching and there will be no spring?

Its true yes they can do this. They offered to do this for me with my old 60mm springs but decided to have a complete set of new ones made up

Burner and vice does the same job, or heat them on the car
