Yeah they look cool, I am interested in spacers as on my car the front wheels look 'just right' but it makes the rears look 'lost' in the arches.

I might do it anyway, was it hard to do? I can always take them out if it becomes an issue.
Car looks good

You wont have any issues at all i promise !
We have exactly the same chassis and components but your wheels are 16"s right?
Easy to do, jack rear car up on the sills, best to remove rear springs and undo the damper bolt. Drop down the rear beam, undo 4 bolts which hold on the drum which are inside the rear drum plate, snap the pop rivets which also hold it on but are not needed. Move over brake lines and slacken handbrake cable. Remove abs sensor, Put in spacers, in and bolt back on (but you will need to use couple of washers or screw anoother bolt on to shorten the amount the bolts go into the drum as they will fuck your abs up otherwise :S!
Put it all back together,

Its easy if you do it right, you have rear drums yeah?
Best thing to stay safe with the bolt length is to take off your drum face so you can see how far they are coming through to make sure they dont hit the abs rub plate inside when you tighten the wheel on.....

Yes, the rear wheels on the MK6 fiestas are actually lost in the arches, this pic doesnt show it well but trust me, in the flesh, they are.

Put it all back together,
Wheels are 17"! I don't have ABS, so that shouldn't be a problem
I might give it a go, see if it grows on me!
Shame you're not closer or you could give me some pointers
And yes Davey as I said the picture doesn't really show it, but it looks further in in person. Certainly more so when you compare it to the front.
And Bieran if I did that the fronts would stick out too far

Thanks bud, we have a flat extension bit on the front which has a grp covered roof yes lol. The houses are really old, we have only just moved in. Some houses have the extension and some dont down the road.
