what are most likely to be the parts to change?? head gasket kint and basically all the gaskets, pumps, alternator, any other suggestions or parts worth doing?? cheerz guys

big end bearings are praps one to replace as you can do there with the engine and the sump off, and its quite easy to do just make sure u torque them up correctly

cool cheers, was just planning on doing top end, re-seating all the valves and doing the stem seals, lump seems to turn over easily enough and compressin is just right

Its always good tho to have a nice set of big ends so you no its alot safer when reving hard, for t6he sake of 20 quid i would slap some in as if they do go your lookin at a crank regrind(200) and alot of time rebuilding, and it takes about 45 mins to do, ive done it and i still havnt got my car rebuilt bac up after 4 months

by the end of december me thinks as im putting bike carbs on aswell FTW

nice, is all the linkage for those simmilar to having weber carbs? that should have 25bhp shoul'nt it

the linkage is as one from the wen they come of the bike so its easy and they lift equally, well im goin for a set of cams, with the right jets and tuning i want to be heading towards the 190 mark
