i just bought this game, and i hate footy games, but this is quality.

couple of q's, im playin legend mode, can you call for the ball, or just have to be in right position?

also, last few mins of a game, a blue viagra looking symbol comes above my player? why?

Double tap R2 on PS3 or Right shoulder button on 360 to call for the ball... no guarantee you'll get it, but you'll put your hand up for it.

Blue viagra? Haven't got a clue! I'm always subbed off with between 20 and 5 mins left anyway

Yep, to call for it you double press R2.

That 'viagra' symbol you talk about shows that your player is tired - you have been sprinting too much!
