dewipered my cupra today, easy enough really, but whats the best stuff to use - something like rainex? as i want to be able to see out of my rear if its raining!

I dont use anything on my rear window and I have no wiper, but I never have any problem seeing out of it.

After backing into a post I'd have imagined reducing your rear visibility is the last thing you want to be doing...

if you want to see out your back window but have no wiper then you'll just have to wash it won't you.

looks good mate, i want to do this to my focus but i could only find gromits up to 22mm in diameter.

halfords do a set of 3 - 19, 22, 24 which is only 1.50 ...

i got the halfords ones, only went up to 22mm

Took mine off on the golf and the back window gets so dirty its a joke.

I took it off because the motor was seized so wasn't much point it being there

Winter probably wasn't the best time to do it though tbf but does look better without

yeah i know but it looks so much better without the bulky wiper there

and i haven't washed my car in ages, the rear window is caked in mud around the edges where the wiper doesn't reach people have wrote things on it

I see the point if you can smooth is like on a corsa, doesnt the grommet look worse than a wiper? does to me

yeh i really do agree if for example it was on a corsa. but its a gromet in the window not a panel so not noticable...

You really need to get one of those grommets that actually sits in the hole and looks like it is a piece of the window, saw them in a venommotorsport advert ...

De badge it aswell and it will look very very good

I have one, they are very good, but they do leave a slight indent. but they are only noticable if you look fot it

Hamish ordered it for me when he got one for his polo, can't remember where from but you could get plain ones or ones that had designs on them.
