i need to get a new ecu for my corsa flair 1.4 93 reg i have been told i need to get the exact one because mine has no keycode no central locking ect... is this true and also where is the codes printed on the ecu itself all i can see is that there is a little sticker on the ecu itself saying RF283 05/03/93 A0012... also would anyone have 1 lol?

what year car is it fitted to and does it have central locking or anything like that because i have been told that i need a basic basic model to try and match up with....

When you have one the same, all the numbers & codes will be the same APART FROM the serial number which is with the barcode

Remove the column shroud, if you've got a transponder (black box attached to your ignition) you need to get an ECU and the transponder + key that goes with it, other wise you need to find a car that does not have a transponder.
