Just borrowed a Wista 5x4 Large format camera from uni, great peice of kit any body had any experiance with large format camera'?tomorow is going to be my first shoot with one properly other than a few black and white test shots the other day.
Also the price of film 20 quid for 10 sheets of colour!

went out and shot today down the historic dockyards, got some good shots will post up when I've printed them

Bet it is - I've had a go at a medium format (once) at it was pretty tricky - I gave up and used my SLR instead!
Probably as it was a film one with only 10 shots or whatever and I was scared of ruining the guys roll

ha I've ruined so much film since i started my course its unbelieveable but I reall enjoy working with the film camera's for some reason

I mess about with a holga medium format camera and that is costly enough! One method to save film is to take the photo on a digital first so you can try and avoid mistakes when you take the photo on film. Can loose the charm of using a film camera that way though
