I'm writing a report on "The History of the Internet"
I'm talking about the Dot Com Bubble of the mid 90's at the moment but i'm struggling to think of many companines to use as examples...so far i've got eBay and lastminute.com
Can you think of any other major players i can talk about?

how about talking about famous internet celebrities such as the fat star wars kid etc?
maybe facebook, youtube for nowadays famous sites??

Boo.com was one that failed because it was eseentially ahead of it's time and badly run.

 I might look into that one. The Dot Com bubble is only a small section of the report to be honest. I'm limited to 3000 words (max) and i'm already at 2500 with LOADS more to say
I havent even touched on domestic internet yet

Those were always the assignments I hated - where you have too much to say. Can always pad out for longer assignments, but picking where and what to cut down on is much harder!

Exactly, i have the option to talk a little bit about many things...or a lot about a few things. So the report can either be bitty and fact after fact after fact, or it can have huge gaps in it everywhere
I think we're being marked on our skills of report writing to be honest...not the actual topic.
