there's a mark on the cam pulley and a mark on the crank pulley

Remove the alt belt pulley from the bottom to view it though

yea, the cam one is vertically up, and the crankone is lining up a small cut-out on the outer pulley with a notch of plastic on the timing cover/backing plastic.
