the k and n air filter can be washed, when the k@n filter is black time to wash it and re oil it,
it is only the k@n filter oil that stops the dirt going into your engine

update 29/11/08
finally my air filter arrived, no pics of it yet, as its in the boot of the car, and its away getting a timing belt kit, and water pump just to be on the safe side, getting a coilpack to, to see if it cures the cutting out problem
also purchased my winter wheels,
found a set of mint Fanblades, cheap to,
only pic i have of them:
also, sourced and bought some hydrauliv power steering and m3 mirrors, and possibly some gsi arches and skirts,
c+c welcome

@ weerab, got it from a breakers yard, but id say its probably only a few quid.
update again
4/12/08
fanblades arrived yesterday, so took some pics,
they are mint, not a mark on them anywhere well worth waiting for
just need to rub down the centre caps and give them a respray, started to bubble, pics show the worst of it
and the eye brows i have bought
hopefully getting the power steering this week, and have purchased a decat, and possibly a sebring back box, all depending on the funds i have left
thanks, neil,
