I have applied for a coupl of credits cards in the last couple of days but have been refused, i have a great credit rating from Experian.
I moved in with my G/F about 4 months ago (she has had financial problems in the past)
Is it possible that the address i live at would affect the chances of me being accepted for credit.

its rubbish, only want to transfer my balance into another 0% Credit Card
Why are they offering deals if someone with a really good credits rating (never be overdrawn, missed any payments etc)
isnt accepted

Cos you probly dont earn them enough money? Like me I pay the balance off in full each month, they dont get a penny of interest out of me

Dont apply for too many in a short space of time, affects your credit rating so ive been told! Think best thing is to ring them up and ask why you have been declined. I had some credit card companies refuse me before yet others have said yes.

yup, all those applications leave 'footprints' on your record and potential lenders may see that as a sign that your are trying to get lots of credit.
